2007 Western Roundup & Fundraiser for Oncology Families
Representatives from CORE and their family and friends volunteered at the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation’s 16th annual Western Roundup at Hidden Valley in Irvine on June 10th. The event was attended by over 400 people, including 70 oncology children and families as well as donors and supporters of the two organizations.
Events at the Roundup included bouncy houses, pony rides, petting zoo, carnival rides and games, arts and crafts, face painting, raffles and more. Attendees were also given the opportunity to participate in a dove release ceremony in memory of or in honor of an oncology child.
Team CORE is committed in the fight against breast cancer by participating in the “2007Race for the Cure” providing dollars back into Orange County to help people with little or no health insurance to receive breast cancer and breast health education, screening, treatment and treatment support.
Junior AM Golf Tournament
The AJGA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf.
SEAL BEACH, Calif. — Reid Hutchinson of Encinitas, Calif., medaled in the Boys Division of the Srixon Qualifier for the CORE Realty Holdings Junior at Old Ranch Sunday with a score of 2-under-par 70. Veronica Valerio of Temecula, Calif., medaled in the Girls Division at 1-over-par 73.

Conducted by the American Junior Golf Association, the Srixon Qualifier for the CORE Realty Holdings Junior at Old Ranch was an 18-hole stroke play event featuring 80 boys and 20 girls, ages 12-18. Five states and two foreign countries were represented with 59 players from California. The event was held at the Old Ranch Country Club with boys tees set at 6,701 yards and girls tees set at 5,873 yards.
Kids Konnected Golf Tournament and Jet Blue CHALLENGE – Kids helping Kids camp
CORE Realty Holdings supports Kids Konnected’s mission to provide friendship, understanding, education, and support for the children who have a parent with cancer, or have lost a parent to cancer. When a parent gets cancer, the entire family is affected. Children facing the same fears and similar experiences can be helped by others in a similar situation.
